Artists are welcome to set up and begin painting on Friday, August 13 or Saturday, August 14. Painting will continue all day on Saturday and conclude with an evening wine and cheese reception at the Ingalls Homestead, located one mile south of DeSmet. All artists are welcome to exhibit and sell paintings throughout the event. Pete Kilian, Professor at Northern State University, will demonstrate his plein air technique throughout the day on Saturday. A "Wet Sale" of works created during the event will be held Sunday at the Ingalls Homestead. Event FREE to the public.
